El Centro Cultural Ajijic se encuentra ubicado en Jardín Norte frente a la plaza principal de Ajijic, Jalisco México. En el encontraras murales y esculturas de artistas con reconocimiento a nivel mundial. Además, ofrece varias actividades centradas en las artes. Desde conciertos de música clásica con jóvenes, a presentaciones de títeres, a varias obras de teatro, así como exposiciones de pinturas, fotografía, y escultura que cambian regularmente.

LA CREACIÓN DE UN ESPACIO CULTURAL PARA AJIJIC Y LA REALIZACIÓN DEL CENTRO CULTURAL AJIJIC

Hace ya más de tres décadas que unos jóvenes entusiastas vieron realizados sus sueños al conseguir un espacio desde y en el cual se materializarían los proyectos que tenían a propósito de la promoción de la cultura.
El viejo galerón que había sido usado como cárcel de animales, mercado, kínder, salón de baile, palenque de gallos y varias cosas más les había sido cedido por las autoridades para que este fungiera como la casa de la cultura de Ajijic. El grupo se denominaba Arte, Cultura y Tradición. Allí tomó fuerza el ámbito que ahora vivimos en Ajijic, el ambiente cultural que atrae al turismo a esta bella población.
Pasaron los años, pasaron los directores del lugar, creció la lista de promotores culturales y al fin, en agosto del año 2005, derribaron el viejo galerón y gracias a la iniciativa ciudadana se construyó el edificio que ahora alberga el Centro Cultural Ajijic (CCA).
El aniversario de estos dos momentos históricos en la vida cultural de Ajijic se celebra a partir del viernes 16 de agosto, en la explanada y en el mismo centro cultural.

The Ajijic Cultural Center
The Axixic Cultural Center is located in Jardín Norte in front of the main square of Ajijic, Jalisco Mexico. In it you will find murals and sculptures of artists with worldwide recognition. In addition, it offers various activities focused on the arts. From classical music concerts with young people, to puppet shows, to various plays. As well as exhibitions of paintings, photography, and sculpture that change regularly.

THE CREATION OF A CULTURAL SPACE FOR AJIJIC AND THE REALIZATION OF THE AJIJIC CULTURAL CENTER

It has been more than three decades since some young enthusiasts, saw their dreams come true by getting a space, from and in which the projects they had for the promotion of culture would materialize.
The old galley that had been used as an animal jail, market, kindergarten, dance hall, cockfighting arena and several other things had been given to them by the authorities, so that it would serve as the Ajijic house of culture. The group was called Art, Culture and Tradition. At that time the cultural environment increases, which attracts tourism to this beautiful town.
Years passed, the directors of the place passed, the list of cultural promoters grew and finally, in August 2005, they demolished the old galley and thanks to the citizen initiative the building that now houses the Ajijic Cultural Center (CCA) was built. The anniversary of these two historical moments in the cultural life of Ajijic will be celebrated from Friday, August 16, on the esplanade and in the same cultural center.

No tiene costo de entrada, esta dentro de la plaza de Ajijic, no tiene estacionamiento. No acepta mascota. Si cuenta con baños. Tiene rampa para personas discapacitadas.
