Every November, the soul of Ajijic awakens. The cobblestone streets come alive with colors, aromas, and sounds that honor those who came before us. This 2025, the Axixic Vive Festival returns stronger than ever — three unforgettable days of art, music, gastronomy, and cultural traditions that make this Pueblo Mágico the cultural heart of Lake Chapala.
From children’s workshops and the “Little Angels” parade to the elegant catrinas walking the malecón and the colorful Cantoya balloons lighting up the sky, every event is an invitation to celebrate life through remembrance. The program features theater, dance, exhibitions, film, local cuisine, and family activities — all with free admission.
Whether you live by the lakeside or are visiting for the first time, this is the perfect time to rediscover Ajijic and experience its ancestral magic. ✨
Live the tradition, feel the community, and celebrate the spirit of Axixic.
